This event is organised in the context of the UNFCCC
negotiations in Cancun at the end of this
year. The focus is on road transport, a
vital sector for economic performance and mobility. It will assess the effort
that European road transport has made and will continue to make to reduce green
house gas emissions in the context of initiatives on passenger car, light
commercial vehicle and heavy goods vehicles.
